The Somerville Mathematics Fund Announces Winning Teacher Grants |
With this round of grants, our total amount of grants and scholarships awarded passed the $100,000 mark! We are pleased to have been able to give this much back to the community in support of mathematics education since we were founded in 2000.

The Somerville Mathematics Fund, an affiliate of Dollars for Scholars, is pleased to announce the winners of its 2008 Teacher Grants to encourage mathematics achievement in the classrooms in Somerville. Again, the members of the board were pleased with the quality of the applications this year and with the exciting things that are happening in the Somerville classrooms. The Math Fund wants to thank ESYL for generously underwriting the following teacher grants along with the fifteen emergency grants made to the East Somerville Community School classroom teachers whose classrooms were devastated.
